Q/ What forms of payment do you accept?
A/ You can pay with major credit cards such as Visa or Mastercard through Paypal, or make a direct payment using your Paypal account. Don't have a Paypal account? No problem, you do not need a Paypal account to pay using Paypal! UK customers can also pay by Cheque or Postal Order.
Q/ How secure is this store?
A/ For electronic payments this store uses Paypal, and Paypal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).Your financial details are not held on this site and we have no access to them at any time.
Q/ If I pay by cheque or postal order (UK only) how fast can I expect to recieve my order? And how quickly do I need to pay?
A/ Orders paid for by postal order will generally be shipped withing two business days of receipt of payment. Orders paid for by cheque will be delayed for as long as it takes the cheque to clear - usually three working days but it can take up to ten business days for cheques to clear. If paying by cheque or postal order, please ensure that payment reaches me within ten working days of making your order - If I do not receive payment or communication from you after ten days the order will be cancelled and the goods returned to the shop.

Q/ Ok, so who's running this thing?
A/ Hello, I'm Pat! Nice to meet you... I'm a crafty and very busy gal who makes things, paints things and lives happily in a tiny London flat crammed full of strange and unusual stuff. I'm a trained fine art printmaker, and I beleive that with a drill, a sewing machine and a soldering iron almost anything is possible. Q/ I'm buying something from you as a gift - are your pieces nicely wrapped?
A/ All jewellery is carefully and beautifully packaged - necklaces and bracelets come in velvet pouches ready for gift giving and rings come in elegant, sturdy presentation boxes. Unusually shaped or particularly fragile pieces will arrive in individual hand crafted packaging designed for special protection. Your order will be shipped in clean, sturdy recycled outer packaging. As part of my commitment to the environment (and to make it nicer for the recipient) I do not include an invoice in your package - just a hand written thank you note. Q/ I contacted you on your site and you didn't get back to me - why not?
A/ I almost certainly did get back to you, or will do so within the next 24 hours. During weekends, busy times and holiday periods I may be a little slower. Still worrying that I haven't answered you? Check your spam folder, there is a good chance my reply is lurking in there.
Q/ Do you do wholesale/consignment orders?
A/ I'm afraid not. The things I make are generally one of a kind or very limited edition. This is partly because I use unusual, vintage and salvaged materials which means that many designs are impossible to repeat.
Q/ Will you make me a custom piece, and how much will it cost?
A/ I occasionally make custom pieces, its always worth contacting me to see if I can fit you in. The price will depend on things like cost and availability of materials, how long it will take to make the piece and how challenging it will be to create.
Q/ So, where did you get that name from?
A/ It's a fragment from Jules Verne's wonderful early science fiction novel "Around the Moon" - who wouldn't want to see the lunar surface through the brilliant aether of space?
